Technology Showcase Returns with a Look Towards the Sky

Tech enthusiasts, job seekers and people of all ages are invited to the 9th annual event in July 

Mountain View, Calif. — The City of Mountain View and Mountain View Chamber of Commerce are excited to present the 9th Annual Technology Showcase, which returns to Downtown this month. This free event showcases technologies found right here in Mountain View and will kick off with a panel presentation on Wednesday, July 24 at 5 p.m. at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, followed by exhibits on display from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 at Civic Center Plaza, 500 Castro St.

The Technology Showcase is designed to highlight the coolest innovations happening locally from leaders in tech and space like Waymo and NASA to startups and entrepreneurs. At this year’s Technology Showcase, the public will discover several space worthy surprises in aviation, 3-D, artificial intelligence, the latest apps, data security and much more. View state-of-the-art vehicles used for first responders and autonomous delivery, as well as virtual environments. Learn about job opportunities in tech as well as tools to forward your career or search. Local robotics teams will also show off their latest creations. Get up close and personal with a few of the international organizations based in Mountain View, as well as discover hidden gems and startups.

In addition to the exhibits, booths and displays in Civic Center Plaza, there will an informative panel discussion held next door at the Second Stage of the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts (MVCPA) that will open the event. On Wednesday July 24, the Aerospace/Aeronautics Panel, will feature industry leaders including Matternet, Wisk Aero, Reliable Robotics and NASA discussing the latest innovations and challenges ahead. The panel will be moderated by Brian Kosinski, an aerospace veteran with over 32 years of government and commercial satellite experience. Events are free and open to the public.

This year’s signature sponsor is Google. Additional sponsors include Aurora, Gatik, Intuit, LinkedIn, Lockheed Martin Space, Nuro, Reliable Robotics, and Waymo.
